Jeff Hopper

Ambient electronic musician Jeff Hopper, as Stereoesque, creates moody atmospheres, evoking dissonant melancholy and hopeful mystery using sounds that are both realistic and out-of-this-world. He combines his many influences, including new age and pop artists of the 80s, post-modern composers and experimentalists, classical music, and film scores, and takes them to new 21st century destinations. His music reflects the reality of both light and darkness in life, connecting the soul and the mind using unique sonic textures, voice and found sounds.

In the midst of the global pandemic of 2020, Hopper collaborated from across the United States with his film-maker brother, Eric, to produce a series of music videos titled Soften the Glare, in response to and as an expression of their longing to connect and create during months of isolation.
